Margie Faye Lambert

Funeral services for Margie Faye Lambert, 85, of Wisner will be 11 am Wednesday February 19, 2025, at Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Davis and Rev. A. J. Kimball officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Tuesday February 18, 2025, at the funeral home.
Margie was born December 16, 1939, in Gilbert to the union of the late John Talmadge McQuillin and the late Bessie Lucille Ray McQuillin and passed from this life on February 15, 2025, at Plantation Manor Nursing Center in Winnsboro.
Margie was a member of Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church and a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish. She was a homemaker, an avid quilter and loved to cook for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Denver Lambert; her son, Terrell Wayne Lambert; one sister, Mary Lee Robinson; brother, John Edward McQuillin; and her son-in-law, Ray Taylor.
Those left to cherish her memory include her five daughters: Paula Meyers and husband Mike of Gilbert, Margaret Taylor of Lake Charles, Patricia Davis and husband Joel of Green Forest, AR, Estella Wilkerson and husband Michael of Wisner, Pam Oliver and husband Mike of Gilbert; special son, Sandy Ray and wife Debbie of Weatherford, TX; four sisters: Shirley Jordan of Gilbert, Lillie Roberts of Wisner, Francis Batey and husband James Earl of Linden, TN, and LaVerne Stump of Walker; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
