Margie was born in St. Petersburg, FL on May 4, 1945 to Gibson Odom Kimberlin and Marijane Nichols Kimberlin. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in McComb. She was a devoted homemaker, who loved her family. She did everything well. She spent many hours beautifying their yard with flowers. She loved to study the Word of God and enjoyed prophecy. She was a lady who never met a stranger, who could talk for hours after just meeting. Time did not matter; she was forever your friend. She loved her many cats and they loved her. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband James Lawrence of Magnolia, a son Mike Laird Jr. (Tracy) of St. Francisville, LA, a daughter Terrie Erwin (Rusty) of Chambersburg, PA, a brother Dr. Danny Kimberlin (Martha Jo) of Paris, TN, a sister Ginny Weber (Kenny) of Baton Rouge, LA, grandchildren Major Brandon Erwin (Nikki), Brian Laird, and Brennan Laird, a great grandson Levi Erwin, a special niece Robin Trammell, along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, 303 East Wacker Drive, Suite 2300, Chicago, IL 60601.
