Margie Louise Adams Sexton, age 65, of Paintsville, KY, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday morning, October 6, 2025.

She was born July 10, 1960, in Paintsville, KY, to the late Willard and Emogene Music Adams. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers: Willard B. Adams, Thomas Lee Castle, Douglas Adams; and one sister: Phyllis Jean Ward.

On July 22, 1978, she married Larry Keith Sexton, who survives. Additional survivors include one daughter: Kayla Sexton (Eric Short) of Paintsville, KY; two sisters: Sheila Kay Adams Fairchild Taylor of Paintsville, KY, Carroll (Paul) Short of Franklin, OH; three grandchildren: Caleb Ward, Jordan McCoy, Kelsey McCoy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Southie Fannin Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Family Cemetery on Mill St. in Paintsville, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M.; on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 12 Noon until 8 P.M.; and from 11 A.M. until the time of services at 1 P.M. on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Jones-Preston Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with all final arrangements for Mrs. Margie Louise Adams Sexton.
