Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services - MiddletownMargie Winter, 76, of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on March 17, 1950, in New Castle to the late Landis and Mary (Sutherland) Harding.
She was a 1968 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Margie Loved spending time with her family, never missing a day at the 4H fair watching her grandchildren with their projects. She enjoyed going to festivals especially the Fall Festivals. Margie could be found filming her husband and sons Allen and Jason at the tractor pulls, planting flowers, fishing and shopping. She always enjoyed a good joke and watching local Evangelist. Margie attended Tabor Church and Full Gospel Temple. She worked in the office at Russ Hubler in New Castle.
Margie is survived by her son, Allen Winter; grandchildren, Audrey Winter, Lauren Winter and Braxton Winter; siblings, Alanda Harding, Pam (Glenn) Campbell, Steve (Nora) Harding, Randy Harding and Dewayne (Missy) Harding; brother-in-law, Richard Winter; nieces, Jody Winter Hitchens, Cari Winter Romine, Adreiann Childress, Amanda Harding, Mellanee McNeely, Jessica Harding and Pamela Ashley; nephews, Clay Campbell and Gerry Rice.
In addition to her parents Margie is preceded in death by her husband Michael Winter; son Jason Winter; niece, May Belle Campbell; nephews, Levi Campbell and Michael Harding.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Margie at www.ballardandsons.com.
