Margot Joan Jandt, 94, of Wibaux, MT, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana. Margot's Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Beach, ND. The Vigil will be Friday, October 3, 2025, at 7:00pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Beach, ND. Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with arrangements. Margot Joan (Justesen) Jandt, age 94, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, in Glendive, Montana. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margot lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Born on August 7, 1931, in Beach, North Dakota, Margot was the daughter of Edward and Anna Justesen. After losing her mother at a young age, she took on the responsibility of helping take care of her brothers-Edgar, Einar, and Roger Justesen. Her father later remarried, and from that union Margot gained another brother, Eric Justesen. Margot graduated from Beach High School in 1949 and went on to marry Harold "Bud" Jandt on May 2, 1951. Together they built a life centered around their three sons: Robin, Kent, and Mark. Margot embraced her role as a homemaker with pride and joy. She spent many years cooking hearty meals, keeping a warm and welcoming home, raising her children with care-and answering the phone for the family business, Jandt Plumbing & Heating. She also enjoyed keeping her flower gardens watered and full of blooms in the summer. Margot began working outside the home after the death of her husband. She brought her cooking talents to Lincoln Elementary School and later Home on the Range. At Lincoln Elementary she became well-known for her homemade salads that graced the school salad bar-dishes made with love that left lasting impressions on students and staff. Margot's creativity extended far beyond the kitchen. She had a passion for baking and was especially known for her beautifully decorated birthday cakes made lovingly for her grandchildren. Her pies and desserts were legendary among those who knew her. A gifted crafter as well, she embellished her handmade Christmas decorations, centerpieces, pillows, and lamp shades with lace, glitter, and shiny beads-each piece reflecting her unique style and attention to detail. Quilting was another of Margot's joys; she spent countless hours sewing Christmas dresses for her granddaughters and creating keepsakes that will be treasured for generations. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by family. Whether it was a holiday gathering or an ordinary Sunday dinner, Margot's home was always open-and no one ever left hungry. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved-and rarely took no for an answer when offering seconds. A woman of deep faith, Margot was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she attended Mass every Sunday without fail. Margot is survived by her sons Robin (Toni) Jandt of Beach, ND; Mark Jandt of Beach, ND; daughter-in-law Lorie Jandt of Fresno, CA; brother Eric Justesen of Belgrade, MT; 7 grandchildren: Tayon (Jeremy) Braaflat; Sarina (Nick) Martini; Tory (Heather) Jandt; Christina Jandt; Tani (Scott) Moberg; Tyler (Ashley) Jandt; and Erik (Elizabeth) Jandt 17 great-grandchildren: Trinn, Allie and Kyra Nybakken; Aleah and Harper Braaflat; Gianna and Avery Martini; Gavin, Brody, and Hazel Jandt; Destiny, Clarissa, and Jayden Jandt; Lyla and Ivy Moberg; Orion and Elara Jandt. She is also survived by 6 nieces that were very special to her (Tracy, Kirsten, Allison, Cheryl, Dana, & Beth) She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bud Jandt; son Kent Jandt; and brothers Edgar, Einar, and Roger Justesen. Margot's legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with unwavering love and care. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her. A lunch will follow in the church basement immediately after the funeral. A private family burial will occur at a later time. I have so many great memories of my Aunt Margot. She was always kind, and I know she is now with all her loved ones who went before her. God has accepted an angel, that was my Aunt Margot. May you rest in peace
