Marguerite Dixon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DuPage Cremations, Ltd. and Memorial Chapel on Jan. 12, 2026.
Marguerite Helen Dixon, born May 17, 1947, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her children. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion to family.
Marguerite was a loving wife to Frank Dixon, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a cherished sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved, bringing family together, and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She was the heart of her family - a steady presence, a source of comfort, and the glue that held everyone together.
Marguerite was also a longtime parishioner and employee of St. Domitilla Parish. Her faith, dedication, and spirit of service touched countless lives and reflected the compassion and generosity she shared with her family every day.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Dixon; her children Franklin T. Dixon (Kate), Thomas Dixon, and Patricia Dixon-Mintz (Rob); her grandchildren Andrea Dixon, Angelina Allen, Frankie Dixon, Brianna Allen, Christopher Allen, Andrew Mintz, and Brooklyn Mintz; and her great-grandchildren Riley and Aria.
Marguerite will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
