Marguerite M. Walton

Marguerite Propsner Walton died on July 26, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Propsner. Marguerite attended the then one room school in Solebury. She graduated from New Hope-Solebury High School in 1944. She then graduated from Shippensburg University as a major in English and Social Studies. She taught English for 43 years and also trained student teachers at East Stroudsburg University. She enjoyed being a volunteer tour guide at the Pearl S. Buck home in Dublin. Also, she was honored as a life member of Lingohocken Garden Club. She was married for 70 years to the late Milton R. Walton who is buried at the cemetery at Trinity Episcopal Church Solebury. Family and friends are invited to Marguerite's Life Celebration, Monday, August 1st, from 10-11am, at John F. Givnish of Buckingham, 4886 York Rd. and to participate in her Funeral Service at 11am. Interment will follow in Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.
