Maria Andreula Obituary
She was born San't Antimo, Naples, Italy. She lived in Asbury Park, Bronx, NY and Nassua, Long Island before moving to Ocean Township in 1976.
She worked for the Township of Ocean Board of Education in the cafeteria and a playground aide as well as Project Extend. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Asbury Park.
She was predeceased by her parents, Luigi and Giovanna Piccola Dell'Omo and her brothers, Pasquale and Giuseppe Dell'Omo.
Surviving are her daughters, Carmela and her husband Michael Sylvester, Joanne (Giovanna) and her husband Bruno Tirone and Christine and her husband Giuseppe Mercatante; her brothers, Anthony and Andrew Dell'Omo; her sisters, Caroline and her husband Freddy Guiscardo and Rose Russo; 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth Sylvester, Maria and her husband Daniel Falzarano, Maria Rosaria and her husband Kyle Grimes, Angelo Tirone and his husband Dr. Michael Vega, Rocco and his wife Kimberly Mercatante and Anthony and his wife Jenna Mercatante; 14 grreat-grandchildren, Joseph, Daniella, Gianna, Liliana, Antonia, Serena, Joey, Angelina, Christine, Sophia, Anthony, James, Luca and Mila and many nieces and nephews here and in Italy.
Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park followed by entombment at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
