My father was the German Konsul for SC for many years. He told us amazing stories of Maria and and we were lucky to meet her as well. I remember my mother asking her what her secret was and she said something along the lines of laugh a lot and have a shot of Grappa when you are sick. I was just going through old emails and and found when she got her passport renewed at 106 years old. We have since lost both my parents and I know how meaningful it can be when others share memories of your loved ones. I will never forget her words and I hope the family is all doing well.
