Obituary of Maria A. Baird

Maria A. Baird, of Murrysville, formerly of Robinson, a beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at the age of 50, in Pittsburgh. Born on March 18, 1975, in Johnstown, Maria lived a vibrant life marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication to her family and most importantly her daughter.

Maria graduated from United High School and went on to continue her education and obtaining an Associate's Degree, embarking on a successful career in insurance sales, where her warmth and genuine concern for others were evident in her work. She was known for her ability to leave a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Maria is survived by her loving mother Mary Louise Wilson and step-father Eugene Wilson; father Frank Vann and step-mother Deb Vann; beloved daughter, Madelyn Gingrich, who was her whole life; and brother Matthew Wilson. Each of these relationships brought her immense joy and pride, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Her life will be celebrated with a funeral service to be held at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA, on October 4, 2025, at 8 PM. Friends and family will be received earlier that day, starting at 2-4 PM and 6 PM till time of service at 8 PM, allowing all to come together to share memories, reflect on her life, and offer support to one another.

In this time of grief, let us remember Maria for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering strength. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.
