Maria Bisconti

Maria Biscontii born Monday, October 5, 1942 in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Crescentino and Francesca Romano. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 63 years, Filippo Bisconti. She lived in Brooklyn N.Y. until 1996, then moved to Staten Island where she resided until her passing on March 16th 2025.
She is survived by her devoted son Peter Bisconti.
Maria was a dedicated homemaker who attended weekly Mass at Our Lady of the Sea Church for many years. She was a member of a neighborhood prayer group and a Friendship Club where she made many friends. She enjoyed ceramic classes and made many beautiful pieces which her son now cherishes.
She always welcomed anyone who came to her door, ready to sit and chat with them over a cup of coffee. Her greeting, "Hi Doll",will be missed by all who loved her. May she now rest in the peace she so righly deserves.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
