Maria M. Capeles, age 53, passed away on August 24, 2024. She was born on April 26, 1971, in Connecticut, to her loving parents, the late Adelino Capeles and Paula Serrano Capeles. Devoted mother of Victor Omar Rodriguez Capeles, William Rodriguez Capeles (Mariadela Lopez), Manuel Rolon Jr., Stephany M. Rolon, and the late Rafael Antonio Rolon. Cherished grandmother of Sophia Juliette, Willianys Victoria, Julianys Adele, Jennylee Ramos, Genesis J. Pagan, Braylon M. Pagan, Deliliany Rolon, and Delany Rolon. Dear sister of George Capeles (Lissett), Violy Gonzalez (Alex), and Adelaida Rodriguez (Jose Antonio).
It is with deep sorrow and with much love that we mourn the passing of our sister Maria M. Capeles. Mari as we called her had this wonderful way of making you feel special when you encounter her. Her conversations were full of laughable moments. She was a very personable person. One of Mari’s favorite activities to do was to ride her bike to the lake, that was her way to exercise and enjoying the summer.
Mari loved being around family. When it was time to visit her children and grandchildren that would fill her heart to see and hear them. She would take her nieces, nephews and grandchildren to the park and beach when they were younger. She cherished all those moments in her heart. She cared deeply for all her family.
As time passed and Mari began to get sick. Mari sought after the Lord Jesus Christ. When she would hear a worship song, read the word of God, or attended worship services, her tears would fall and she would pray to her Lord in such a way that you couldn’t help but shed tears with her and pray with her. I believe that Mari is at peace and in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
One day Mari, we will see you again.
