Maria DaSilveira Obituary
Maria A. DaSilveira, 76, of New Bedford, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Born in Rosais, São Jorge, Azores. She was the wife of the late Antonio DaSilveira and she was the daughter of the late Joao Teixeira and the late Maria (Almeida) Bettencourt. Maria worked many years as a machine operator in Rand McNally in Taunton, MA.
Maria is survived by her sister Maria Deolinda; her brothers Duarte Teixeira and Miguel Teixeira; nephews & nieces; John Silveira, Álvaro DaSilveira, Avelino DeSousa, Elizabeth Gomes, Sandy Silva and Lucia Souto; Sisters-in-law Guiomar Silveira, Isaura Souto, brother-in-law Virginio DaSilveira & spouse Maria Jose.
Maria's visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by a service at 11:30 at Boulevard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetary in Taunton, MA.
