Frank Gwozdz Jr., 79, of Dartmouth passed away at home on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Born in Acushnet, Frank was the son of the late Frank Gwozdz Sr. and the late Eleanor Gwozdz and loving husband to the late Marianne (Saulnier) Gwozdz.
Frank proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War, stationed aboard the USS Independence aircraft carrier. Frank was a proud member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Regional Farm Bureau, organizations through which he continued to serve his community and support causes close to his heart. Frank found joy in saltwater fishing, especially for seabass, and cherished time spent on the water. When he was not fishing or working on the farm, he loved watching football and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots.
Survivors include his daughters, Anne Dias and her husband Tony and Robin Gwozdz and her boyfriend Josh Ashley; 3 grandchildren, Raegen, Tyler, Samantha; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Richard “Archie” Gwozdz; sister, Janice Mailloux; and several nieces and nephews.
