Maria Candelaria Costilla de Gonzalez, born February 2, 1948, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, was a woman whose life was built on love, strength, and devotion to her family.

Maria’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply and gave endlessly to those around her. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of knowing that family always came first. She was a proud mother of 11 children and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother whose legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Maria’s love extended through generations. She leaves behind her children, her beloved mother, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever carry her love, lessons, and memories in their hearts.

She now joins her beloved husband and her daughter who passed before her. While their absence was deeply felt here on earth, her family finds peace in knowing they are reunited once again.

Maria was the heart of her family—a woman whose strength, kindness, and unconditional love shaped the lives of everyone who knew her. The love she gave will never fade, and the memories she created will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her love will remain with us forever.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M, Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2026 from 6:00 P.M- 8:00 P.M.
