Era conocida por sus arranques de canto y baile. Ma. Socorro falleció el 29 de julio de 2025, poco después de celebrar su cumpleaños número 88.

Socorro deja en vida a su hija Martha Ramírez, nietos Roberto y Federico; su hijo Raúl y su esposa Soledad Sifuentes, nietos Luis y David, nieta Pamela; nietos José Ángel y Alfonso, nieta Cindy; su hijo Jesús Sifuentes Ríos y su esposa Sandra, nietos Jesús y Miguel, nietas Viridiana y Zuny; su hijo Arturo Sifuentes Ríos, nieto Arturo, nietas Jasmin, Jaqueline y Evelyn; su hijo Aurelio y su esposa Lupe Sifuentes, nietas Miriam y Daisy, nieto Edgar; su hijo Jaime Sifuentes Ríos, nieta Paola; su hija Leticia Sifuentes-Valdez, nietas Laura y Ruby; nietas Daniela y Mariana; su hijo Gerardo Sifuentes Ríos y su esposa Nilda, nieta Abril, nietos Gerardo y Héctor; su hijo Miguel Ángel y su esposa María Ríos y sus tres hijas; bisnietos: Christal, Roberto, Lydia, Isabella, Yulissa, Sebastián, Laila, Ángel, Benjamín, Axel, Ian, Andree, Leah, Román, Andrea, Samantha, Gael, Dante, Jasmine, Julián, Adeline, Sofía, Mateo, Vinatta, Dylan, Alexander, Damián y Valentina; tataranieta Penélope; hermanas Juanita y Lucy, y hermano Manuel.
Ma. Socorro fue precedida en muerte por sus padres Antonio Ríos y María del Refugio Ramírez; su segundo esposo Ramón Chacón; su primer esposo y padre de sus hijos Jesús Sifuentes; sus hijos José Refugio y Joaquín; su yerno Cipriano; su nieto Jorge; su nuera Olga y su nieta Lluvia; sus hermanos Joaquín, Antonio, Salvador y Eleuterio.
