Mrs. Maria Julissa Escutia, age 43 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1980 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Pascual Escutia and Adela Alcantar.
Mrs. Escutia is survived by her parents; husband, Antonio Cruz Hernandez; daughters, Cassandra Cruz and Natalie Cruz; son, Edgar Cruz and sisters, Veronica Escutia and Diana Escutia.
A funeral mass for Mrs. Escutia will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at twelve o'clock in the afternoon at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Timothy Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Escutia will receive family and friends on Friday, August 16, 2024 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Antonio Cruz Hernandez, Porfirio Cornejo, Saul Cornejo, Gerardo Cruz, Jeronimo Cruz, Jenaro Escutia, and Carlos Reyes.
