Maria Garcia Mata, known as Mary, was born on September 16, 1971, in Texas, to Genovena F. Ramirez and Juan Garcia. A proud Mexican American, Maria lived her life with a vibrant spirit, deep love for her family, and a heart that welcomed everyone around her.
Maria was a spontaneous soul who brought lively energy, laughter, and warmth wherever she went. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her presence filled rooms with love, humor, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her sons, Raymon M. Mata (Ariana) and Brandon Johnson (Austin); her daughters, Lorraine Spencer and Angelica Johnson (Luciano); and her beloved grandchildren: Raymon, Nash, Azalea, Amiyah, Arlo, Scarlett, Kyree, and Vito. She is also survived by her sisters Rachel, Rosa, and Lupe, and her brother Pete.
Maria was preceded in death and is now reunited in heaven with her daughter Meranda Johnson; her brother John Garcia; and her sisters Rita R. and Martha Garcia.
Though she is no longer with us physically, Maria's love, laughter, and spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy is one of love, family, and a joyful soul that will never be forgotten.
