It is with love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Amparo Garza, who departed this life on November 27, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on July 30, 1959, in Mexico, where her story of warmth, strength, and generosity first began.

Maria was a devoted wife to Idelfonso Garza and a loving mother to her children: Lauro Garza and wife Elizabeth, Elizabeth Gutierrez and husband Gerardo Gutierrez, Erika McGee and husband Brandon McGee, and Alize Garza. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kamren McGee, Avery McGee, Ellis McGee, Madilynn Gutierrez, Zoe Gutierrez, Rachel Garza, and Laura Garza, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She is survived by her mother, Lorenza Salinas, and preceded in death by her father, Domingo Salinas.

Maria lived her life rooted in her Christian faith and was known for her welcoming spirit. She always had an open door and an open heart, ready to help anyone in need. Her love for flowers and gardening reflected her nurturing soul, and her home bloomed with the same warmth she shared with others.

She cherished every moment with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Maria loved music and dancing, often filling a room with laughter, movement, and joy. Her radiant smile and lively spirit made every gathering brighter. No matter where she went, she carried herself with grace-always presentable, always glowing, always Maria.

Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the beauty she planted-both in her garden and in the lives she touched-will continue to flourish for generations to come.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.
