It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Graciano, who was born on December 28, 1967, in Durango, Mexico. Maria passed way on November 1, 2024, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Maria was the beloved daughter of Maria Del Refugio Arce and Ruben Alvarez. She was married to her loving spouse, Catarino Graciano, since 1986. Together, they raised three children: Daisy Graciano (spouse Roy Azua), Ruben Graciano, and Kevin Graciano. Maria was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren: Lea Azua and Catalina Graciano.

Maria was known for her kind heart and selfless spirit. She dedicated much of her time serving the church, where she found joy in helping others. In her free time, Maria enjoyed knitting, cooking, baking, and tending to her garden, where she found solace and peace.

Maria will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Highway 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX 75165. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church – chapel at 600 E. Marvin Avenue, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
