Tita Graciano

Tita Graciano, aged 68, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, where she was also born on May 28, 1956. Tita was a beacon of warmth and generosity, always seeing the good in every situation. She was a comforting presence in many lives, renowned for her wisdom. Tita's belief in the strength of family resonated through her actions and the cohesive family unit she nurtured.
She is survived by a loving family: her spouse, Ivan Melendez Sr.; children, Ivan Melendez Jr., Connie Melendez, Anthony Melendez, Rocky Melendez, Xavier Melendez, and Benny Melendez; grandchildren, Ivan Luis Melendez, Luis Angel Melendez, Abel Dominic Melendez, Elijah Joseph Melendez, Anina Ivana Melendez, and Rocky Ramon Melendez; a great-grandson, Elias Melendez; brother, Ramon Graciano; and several nieces and nephews. Tita was preceded in death by her sister, Olivia Graciano.
Visitation will be held at Casey and Rios Funeral Home in Chicago, Illinois, on May 9, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Catholic Burial will take place at Maternity BVM Catholic Church at 9:00 A.M. on May 10, followed by interment at Oakridge Cemetery. Casey and Rios Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Tita's legacy of love, wisdom, and strength will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
