Mrs. Maria Lena Rogers Harrell, age 66, took her last breath here on earth Saturday, March 1, 2025 and met her heavenly father.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 1pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Chapel service will be held at 2pm Wednesday from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton.
Graveside will follow at Cross Roads Baptist Cemetery in Pelahatchie.

Maria Lena Harrell, age 66, passed away on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband and children.
Born on September 25th, 1958 in Mobile, AL, to Pete and Shirley Rogers, Maria was the youngest of 5 siblings.
She was a devoted wife to Scott Harrell for 46 years and a loving mother to Matt, Heather, and Kevin. Her warmth, wisdom, and nurturing spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Maria loved her dogs so much everyone joked they were treated better than any human. She also had a passion for traveling to new places in their RV or overseas.
She dedicated much of her life to being the best mother and wife. Her family was always her priority, and she poured love into every moment spent with her children and those she considered close.
She is survived by her husband Scott Harrell, Son Matthew Harrell (Kristen), Daughter Heather Richrath (Bryan), and son Kevin. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Pallbearers Edward Holmes, Bruce Holmes, Joseph Jernigan, Brad Risher , John Coates and James Holmes.
The Harrell family would like to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers.
