Maria D. Mendiola, 72, entered into God's presence on July 24, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by her family at her side.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Efrain Renato Mendiola; parents: Andres Amesquita and Maria del Carmen Elizondo.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Gilberto Juarez, Jose Luis (Maria Concepcion Sanchez) Juarez, Felipe (Mireya Garcia) Perez, Mayra (Saul) Aguilera; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings: Leopoldo Amesquita, Araceli Amesquita, Amalia Amesquita, Jesus Amesquita, Victoria Najera, Alicia Najera, Norma Najera, as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. A Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will commence at 7 pm.
All services will conclude in the chapel and a cremation and burial is pending at a later date.
