Martha Kisner, 74 of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on March 16, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Martha was born on August 14, 1951 in Laredo, Texas to Doras and Emiro Castelar.
Martha was known to be a very strong fighter and very outgoing. She was a very friendly person who was always smiling and happy no matter what came her way. Martha had a smile that could turn anyone's day around. She was a very loving person who always looked out for others before looking out for herself. Martha always made sure anyone around her was smiling and happy before leaving. She had a loving heart and if anybody knew her, it was the kind of heart that any loving mother would share.
Martha had a heart and a very beautiful smile that would radiate the entire room. She was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in. Martha was everything we could have ever wanted or ask for as a mother and grandmother. We will always love and hold her dear to our hears and cherish her memories and heart. Martha graduated from Derby High School and started working for the Derby board of Education where she retired from.
Martha is survived by 3 daughters, Jennifer Kisner; Sarah Kisner; Sally Kisner; 6 grandkids, Haley Ochieng; Christian Ochieng; Autumn Ochieng; Jessica; Eric; Sofia; 2 sisters, Leticia Ellis; Dora Rega; 2 brothers, Jorge Castelar; and Jaime Castelar Sr.
Martha was preceded in death by parents, Dora Castelar and Emillo Castelar; siblings: Mana Sylivia Castelar, Juan Emilio Castelar, Emilio Jose Castelar Jr., Pablo Castelar, and Javier Castelar.
