February 20, 1952 - December 24, 2025
Derby, Kansas - Maria Teresa Sabalones Mendoza passed away Dec. 24, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David, and her son, Michael; by her sisters, Alice Tanoue (Ted), Mona Gonzalez (Ed), and Samie Celiz (Rex); and her nieces and nephews. Terrie was born in Cebu, Philippines Feb. 20, 1952. She loved gardening, enjoyed photography, painting, drawing and singing.
Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Mulvane, KS, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Rosary will begin at 10 am, followed by the Memorial Mass at 10:30 am. A luncheon will be held in the church parish hall immediately after Mass. Please join us if you can and share with the family your memories with Terrie. Memorial donations will go to St. Jude’s Hospital.
