La Sra. Maria Magdalena Mier entró a la presencia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo rodeada por sus seres queridos el día miércoles 11 de febrero del 2026 a la edad de 88 años.
Le preceden en fallecimiento su amado esposo, Jesus Santiago Mier; su nieta, Alyssa Lamar Martinez; sus padres, Sotero y Lamar Benavides; sus hermanos, Hilario Eduardo Benavides, Joseph Benavides, y Orlando Benavides.
Su memoria será recordada por sus hijas e hijo, Lamar (Mario J. Jr.) Martinez, San Juanita Mier, y Jesus Santiago (Ariadna Benavides) Mier, Jr.; sus nietas y nietos, Sophia (José Alfredo) Jara, Jr., Jesus Santiago Mier, III., Alyanna R. Mier, y Aleena K. Mier; sus primas hermanas, Irma Rubio, Lilia Riojas, y Rosario Cavazos; sus concuñas, Virginia Mier, e Irma Mier De Aguirre; además de un gran número de sobrinas, sobrinos, demás familiares y amigos queridos.
Los asistentes al servicio funerario se recibirán el día domingo 15 de febrero del 2026 a partir de las 5 de la tarde hasta las 9 de la noche en la Capilla Fúnebre Joe Jackson Heights, 719 Loring at Cortez. Un Rosario se rezará a las 7 de la noche.
El Cortejo partirá el día lunes 16 de febrero del 2026 a las 10:30 de la mañana de la Capilla Fúnebre Joe Jackson Heights hacia la Parroquia de Cristo Rey para una Misa de Cuerpo Presente a las 11 de la mañana.
Se despide en la parcela familiar del Panteón Católico.
