Sherry A. Mier

Sherry Ann Mier, 75, passed away on March 4, 2026. She was born to the late Sherman and Helen (Dodson) Stiller on June 26, 1950 in Omro, WI. She graduated from Omro High School.

Sherry married Leslie "Les" Mier, Sr. on October 7, 2005.

Sherry enjoyed arts and crafts and being a part of her book club. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church. Sherry volunteered in the Fond du Lac community several places, most notably at St. Vinny's and she helped to teach the men at Blandine House how to cook.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Les; children Danielle Kalscheuer, Josh Loebach, Andrea Mier, Steven Mier, and J.R. (Amanda) Mier; grandchildren Angie, Tyler, Austin, Alan, Kaitlin, Trevor, Mason, Hailie, Draven, Hunter, Ried, Jason and Ethan; great grandchildren Aubrey, Josie, Madelyn, and Jackson. She is further survived by sister JoAn Kolodzik, sister-in-law Marsha Stiller and Les's siblings Tony (Rita) Schaar, Carol Campbel, Pam (Robert) Liesner, Danny Mier, Sue (James) Smock, John (Shellie) Mier, Joe (Missy) Mier, Jim (Sally) Mier, David (Di) Mier, Dale (Jen) Mier, Rose (Therman) Niemuth.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by brothers Alvin (Luise), Gordon, brothers-in-law Gerald Mier, Larry Kolodzik and Robert Schaar.

Sherry's family invites relatives and friends to the First Presbyterian Church, 1225 4th Street, Fond du Lac on Saturday, March 14th for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
