Maria Victoria Moore beloved daughter, sister, and friend from Mission, Texas, passed away on September 4th, 2025 at the age of 50.

The eldest of four siblings, Victoria was born in Mission, Texas, on October 16th, 1974, to Lester and Minerva Montgomery. She was more than just a sister - she was a bonus mother, guardian, and protector to her brothers and sister. She was fiercely devoted to her family, always defending, guiding, and pouring love into those she cherished.

Known for her generosity, Victoria had a heart that touched everyone she encountered. She put others before herself, lifting those around her with kindness, encouragement, and an open spirit. She found joy in dancing and music, and her passion became a gift she passed on to her siblings, who each developed their own musical expertise thanks to her influence.

Victoria was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, where she joyfully served as a CCD teacher, sharing her love for God with the next generation.

Victoria built a remarkable career rooted in leadership and service. She dedicated over 20 years to H-E-B, where she held various leadership roles, and later continued her career as a supervisor with the Texas Department of Public Safety Licensing Division. Her commitment, strength, and work ethic left a lasting mark on her colleagues and community.

Outside of work, Victoria had a love for travel and adventure. Whether exploring new places or revisiting favorite destinations, she embraced each journey with curiosity and joy. Her travels were not only about seeing the world but also about creating lasting memories with the people she loved.

She is survived by her husband David Moore; her sister, Elizabeth Montgomery; her brother, Joseph Montgomery, and his wife, Jessica; her nephews, Luis, Jacob; and niece, Alexa, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, TX. Her legacy of love, music, generosity, and protection will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
