Maria Concepcion Moreno Rodriguez, 63, departed in Colorado Springs, Colorado and went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2023. Maria Concepcion was born on December 8, 1959 in Mexico from the union of Bernabe Moreno Godinez and Belen Rodriguez Padilla. Maria Concepcion called Colorado Springs home for 14 years, but she also lived in Mexico.
Maria Concepcion shared her life with Juan Moreno Dominguez for many years. They tied the knot on May 31, 1974 in Mexico. Maria Concepcion and Juan's relationship was full of adventures and many incredible memories. Their unconditional love was surreal. Maria and Juan found in each other, their best friend, greatest support, biggest comfort and strongest motivation.
Maria Concepcion's greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maria Concepcion spent quality time with her family practicing gratitude and encouraging laughter. To her children, she was his roots and foundation. Maria planted the seed that she based her life on; family is not something it is everything. To her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was a superhero and a legend. She also loved preparing meals and cooking.
Maria Concepcion was preceded in death by her parents, Bernabe Moreno Godinez and Belen Rodriguez Padilla; husband, Juan Moreno and sisters, Margarita Moreno Rodriguez, Albertina Moreno Rodriguez and Ramona Moreno Rodriguez.
She lives on in memory in the hearts and minds of her sons, Antonio Moreno of Kansas City, Kansas, Enrique Moreno of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Genaro Moreno of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Juana Moreno Rodriguez of Mexico, Amalia Moreno Rodriguez of Mexico, Salome Moreno Rodriguez of Mexico and Antonia Martinez of Chicago, Illinois; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as many other family members, friends and a loving community.
Maria Concepcion will be missed dearly.
