Mrs. Maria E. Murphy, 59, of Dublin, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born on August 15, 1966, in Savannah, Georgia, Maria touched countless lives with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering strength. She attended Saint Vincent's Academy in Savannah and drew profound inspiration from her faith, finding salvation through her deep relationship with Jesus Christ. Maria enjoyed collecting crosses, coloring, and, above all, caring for her family, whom she cherished dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Edgar Muphy; her son Kermit Neal Lowery; her sisters, Heidi (David) Allen and Victoria (Mark) Shuman; her nephews, Zack and J.C. Allen, and Chapman and Mason Shuman; and her grandchildren, Jason, Evan, and Hailey Murphy, whom she raised as her own. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, John and Linda Constantine, and her sons, Michael and Stephen Lowery.

A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, October 6, 2025, at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell, Georgia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Henry Dixon and Rev. Christopher Jordan Wilson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be William Baxter, Adam Hester, Steve Mullis, Johnny Fowler, Alex Baxter, and Jason Crowe.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. Monday, at the church prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Maria Murphy may be made to Snow Hill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 7, Cadwell, GA 31009.
