Maria Migdalia Olmeda, 70, of Ocoee, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on April 25, 1954 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Fernando and Aida Luz (Alicea) Rodriguez. Maria was a person whose family was her world.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gerardo Olmeda, two daughters; Leticia Olmeda and Melissa Olmeda, grandchildren Joshua Figueroa, Julian Simmons, Jayden Aviles, great grandchildren Jenoah and Josiah and her beloved dog, Ginger.
A visitation will be held from 7PM to 9PM on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 E. Plant St., Winter Garden, FL. During the visitation, a service will be held beginning at 7:30PM.
Graveside committal will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Fl.
