Maria Morin Picinic

Maria Morin Picinic was born on October 23, 1956, in Carrara, Italy, to the late Ivan Morin and the late Antica (nee Picinic). She then grew up in Susak, Croatia and came to the US in 1971. She began her career as a seamstress before dedicating herself to homemaking. Maria was known for her infectious smile and laughter, and she had a passion for cooking, particularly her favorite dish, Zvacet.
She was the beloved wife of Nikola Picinic and the cherished stepmother of Eileen Marquez (Carlos) and Nicholas Picinic (Arlet). A devoted animal lover, Maria cherished her role as a grandmother, showering her grandchildren, Carlos, Vivian, Paris, Nikko, Mary, and late Baby Luke, with love and the best gifts.
Maria is survived by her dear brothers, Blazenko Morin (Dina) and John Morin, as well as her loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Antonia Mirkovic (Anton), Maria Scrivanich (John), Jure Picinic (Elena), John Picinic (Maruci), and the late Roza Matesic (late Nikola). She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her fondly.
Maria's life was marked by her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
