John Falchetto Obituary
He was presently living at VA hospital in Lyons , NJ. John graduated from Memorial High School in West New York, NJ in 1966.
After high school John was drafted into the US Navy and was sent to fight in Vietnam. He was stationed on a river patrol boat . His job was to patrol various waterways connected to the Mekong Delta, they would inspect sampans which carried arms and munitions for the enemy. They would evacuate wounded soldiers and bring them to safety all the while being fired upon by the enemy. Many Times they would transport Navy Seals on covert missions in Vietnam and Cambodia. His job was extremely hazardous. Out of his origin crew John was the only one to come home. Many people didn't know what John experienced, HE is a real hero.
He wil be missed by his family and friends.
