Maria Pugh Obituary
She was born on November 10, 1950 to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Borsi) Santabarbara of Cleveland, OH.
A graduate of Marymount High School, Class of 1969. She retired from driving school bus for Jackson Local Schools in 2020. Maria was a very social person, dedicated to her family. She loved to have family gatherings and spoil her grandchildren. She loved to cook for people and enjoy the meal with them. Maria was a lover of all animals especially her pets.
Maria is survived by her loving husband, Don, children, Bridget (Steven) Dillon, Dave (Amy) Pugh, and Don Pugh II; sisters, Carol Ewell, Rosalie Hodgson, and Esther (Russell) Pugh; grandchildren, Michael, Emma, Ashton, Seth, Skylar, Joey, and Maggie; great-granddaughter, Ramona; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Pugh; and a sister, Susan Santabarbara.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023, 2:00 pm -4:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon.
A Celebration of Maria's Life will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, 10:30 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My deepest sympathy with Maria's passing. She loved each one of her family and friends so much. She was such a joy to know. She is at Peace with Our Lord now. No more pain, no more suffering. My Love and Prayers always.
