Elena, fue precedida en muerte por sus hijos Antonio Vélez, Graciela Vélez y su esposo con quien compartio 69 años de matrimonio, el Señor Juan Lorenzo Vélez.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Juan y su esposa Julie, José y su esposa Sandra, Heriberto y su esposa Julia, Edwin y su esposa Merari. Sus hijas Evelyn, Zoraida y Saimara y su esposo Miguel, así como numerosos nietos y bisnietos.
Elena fue una amada esposa, madre, abuela, tía y amiga. Siempre dispuesta a ayudar, una mujer de fe inquebrantable, que sabía que no actuaba por si sola, sino con la convicción de que caminaba de la mano de nuestro Dios.
Ahora está en su memoria y nosotros, sus seres amados, aunque la extrañaremos muchísimo, esperamos la promesa de la resurrección.
