Maria Muñoz Rodriguez, 89, of Sabinal, Texas passed away on April 27, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on September 12, 1934, in Sabinal, Texas to Ester (Muñoz) and Aureliano C. Rodriguez.
Maria, a loving aunt, was a sweet soul who loved her family dearly. She will be missed greatly by family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Alfredo M. Rodriguez of Sabinal; nieces and nephews, Diana Pesina of Uvalde, Cynthia Espinoza and husband, Joe of Kerrville; Elizabeth Hernandez of Uvalde, Albert Hernandez, Jr. and wife, Maritza of Cypress, Anita Rodriguez Mendoza of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Francisco Rodriguez, Jr. and wife, Nicole of Watertown, Wisconsin, Jesse Rodriguez of Waukesha Wisconsin, Jessica Rodriguez Thomas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jaime Rodriguez of Waukesha, Wisconsin; numerous great nieces, nephews; great- great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Florencia “Mencha” Rodriguez and Angelita Hernandez and husband, Alberto P.; and two brothers, Monseis Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez and wife, Guadalupe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sabinal. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
