Maria L. (Anderson) Schulz, 58, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Maria was born in Paducah, Kentucky on January 31, 1968 to Larry and Beatrice Anderson. She earned her Master's degree in accounting and worked as an accountant for many years. Maria was of the Catholic faith and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed reading and camping with her family at Lincoln State Park. Maria adored her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Maria is survived by her husband of 39 years, Daniel Schulz of Evansville, IN; children, Juniper Schulz of Arcata, CA and Nathan Schulz (Gayatri) of Fishers, IN; mother, Beatrice Anderson; brother, Bill Anderson (Bella); grandson, Roman Schulz; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Ceal Schulz; sisters-in-law, Kathy Webster (Jason) and Cyndi Hurst (Scott); brother-in-law, Jim Schulz (Tammy); and several nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her father, Larry Anderson; and her grandparents.

A celebration of Maria's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Father Jason Gries officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Browning Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln State Park, 15476 County Rd. 300 E., Lincoln City, IN 47552.
