Maria May Stroinski

Her Legacy Maria May Stroinski, 56, passed away on March 15, 2023. She was born on July 29, 1966, in Garden City, Michigan to Clifford Schroder and Dawn (Campbell) Schroder. Maria married the love of her life, Steve Stroinski, on June 2, 1990 in her sister's backyard during a tornado storm in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. She will be remembered as a woman with a wonderfully contagious personality, beautiful smile, lots of love to share, and who cared deeply for her family above all else. Everyone wanted to be in her presence and talk with her because of her engaging, peaceful, and calm disposition. She had the distinct pleasure of being a mother to three wonderful children and also a mom to many. Maria loved painting, riding horses, at least four star hotel rooms, making wine, tending to her vegetable garden, and was big into food preservation, always having a full pantry. While Maria did not grow up with a foundation of faith, God had been knocking on her heart in recent times.
Her Family Maria will be missed by her husband, Steve; children, Lauren (Brad Masters) Stroinski, Kaytlin (Wes Neiderland) Stroinski, Bryan (David Pechanic) Stroinski; mother, Dawn Schroder; sister, Mimi (John) Chedrick; brother, Jeff (Diana) Schroder; nieces and nephews, Lynn, JC, Brent, and Sara; and her beloved granddogs, Buddy, Coco, Bear, Champ, and Ollie. She is preceded in death by her father.
Her Farewell Maria's family and friends will gather from 11 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 1 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel. Bill Donahue will serve as Celebrant.
