Maria Valentin Obituary
Maria D. Valentin, age 97, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at AdventHealth Winter Park Hospital.
She was born on February 18, 1928 in Mayaguez, PR, daughter to her late mother, Estanislada Ortiz Perez.
Maria is survived by her two daughter, Rafaela Mical, and Nilda Romo and her husband, JC; her son, Higinio Suarez and his wife, Nora Suarez; six grandchildren, Christopher Mical, Vanessa Mical, Michelle E. Romo, Monique R. Hill, Karen Suarez, and Arvin Suarez; four great-grandchildren, Airinna S. Hill, MiCallister W. Hill, Devin Ontiveros, and Matthew Ontiveros; and two sisters, Luzmarina Ortiz, and Ide Suarez.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Consuelo Ortiz; a brother, Heriberto Suarez; her first husband, Higinio Suarez, Sr., and her second husband, Ivan Valentin.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
Visitation will precede the services on Tuesday, July 8 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Lake Mary Cemetery, Lake Mary, FL.
