Maria Wefer Obituary
She was born on June 18, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to John and Judith (Himebaugh) Truitt. Maria married Michael Wefer on April 29, 1989, in Palos Park, Illinois.
Surviving are her husband, Mike of Morton; and children, Bethany, Henry, Sarah (fiancé, Anthony Berlinger), and Daniel Wefer. She was preceded in death by one son, Clyde in 2000 and her parents.
Maria was an active mission partner at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, where she served as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. She played many roles within her church.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Morton. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois.

Mike and kids,
We are so sad to learn of Maria´s passing. She was always so kind and sweet with a servant heart. We count ourselves blessed to have crossed paths and worshipped and served with you all at Morton Methodist church. Praying for comfort and peace that only God can provide to embrace you all.
