Maria Fatima Williams

Maria Fatima Borges Williams, 61, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully surrounded by love on February 27th, 2026 with her husband and sons by her side after a nearly 20 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Maria was born on July 25th, 1964 in São Paulo, Brazil to Antônio and Dulcinea Borges. She was the eldest of three daughters and graduated from Durfee High School in 1982. After high school, she returned to Brazil where she taught English. Upon returning to the US, Maria went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration by taking night classes while working a full time job. She started her career in Human Resources before becoming an entrepreneur with her own health and wellness business. The job she was best known for was being a loving and devoted mother and wife. Maria married the love of her life, Noel on May 26th 1996, sharing 29 years of a beautiful, loving marriage. They were blessed with two children, Isaiah and Noah. Maria made a massive impact and touched so many lives. She lived her life trying to make other people's lives better. She had a joy for life and a fire in her heart that burned so brightly. She was a friend to all and beloved by anyone that knew her. She loved traveling the world, being by the ocean, and laughing with family and friends. She had the power to make you feel safe, seen, and heard. Maria is survived by her husband (Noel), two sons (Isaiah and Noah), parents (Antônio and Dulcinea), sisters (Elaine and Claudette), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, chosen family, and friends. Her in-laws say she was someone who set the standard for what it means to be family, and she made everyone feel loved and included.

For loved ones on the East coast, please join us to celebrate on Sunday March 29th at the Fall River Country Club in Fall River, Massachusetts (more details to come).
