Maria Cristina Ynoa Guzman, 81, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on April 15, 2025. A woman of grace, strength, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones, Maria Cristina leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.
Born on January 26th in Mao, Dominican Republic. Maria Cristina devoted her life to caring for her family and fostering a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. She was the beloved wife of Miguel Rodriguez, with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership, love, and enduring devotion.
Maria Cristina was the proud and cherished mother of Miguelina Rodriguez, Winston Rodriguez, Yuderka Rodriguez, Eddy Rodriguez, and Miosotty Rodriguez. Her children were the heart of her world, and she found her greatest joy in watching them grow, pursue their dreams, and build families of their own.
In addition to her children, Maria Cristina is survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and happiness. Her legacy lives on through them — in their hearts, their laughter, and the values she instilled in them.
Maria Cristina will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her boundless generosity, and the unconditional love she gave to all who knew her. Her home was a gathering place for family, a sanctuary of comfort, and a reflection of the warmth that radiated from her heart.
Her family finds solace in knowing that she has been welcomed into eternal rest, reunited with those who went before her, and that her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she so beautifully touched.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, April 18th from 4-8pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield.
Repatriation services to the Dominican Republic are under the care and supervision of Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home.
