Maria Dolores Yurickones 77. Passed away on Friday December 22, 2023
Maria Dolores was born on April 11, 1946 in La Constancia Nombre de Dios Durango, Mexico to the late Reyes Meza Roman and Tomasa Avila Avila
Maria Dolores met the love of her life John G. Yurickones in 1972 and had 2 daughters Maria Veronica and Anne Victoria. They remained married till his passing in April 2022.
Maria Dolores was a devoted housewife. She loved painting ceramics, knitting, macramé, and baking. She was a loved member of Pavo Real Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her sister Micaela Meza de Pulgarin. Along with her two daughters she leaves behind her beloved companion her dog Snoopy “Pillo” her sister Francisca Meza Avila, and her brothers Felipe Meza Avila, and Gregorio Meza Avila.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 518 Gallagher. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
