Marian Anita Doyle, lovingly known as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 16, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Marian lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and love—traits that endeared her to everyone who had the pleasure to know her.
Marian's professional journey spanned several meaningful roles, including as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Deaconess Hospital and Bayley Place, as well as working at the IRS. Additionally, she contributed her organizational skills as a secretary for the Ohio Police and Firefighters Association. Her commitment to her work and her exceptional care for her patients reflected her kind-hearted nature.
A graduate of Hicksville High School and the Stowe School of Nursing, Marian pursued her education with the same enthusiasm and diligence that characterized her approach to life. She was not only respected in her professional life but also revered by family and friends for her generous spirit and unwavering support. She was a life long parishioner at Holy Cross-Immaculata Parish in Mt Adams and then St. Vincent DePaul.
Marian's greatest pride and joy were her family. She was the loving mother of Nancy (Rudy) Riesenbeck, Janet (Michael) Stiens, Chris Doyle, and mother-in-law to Nancy Doyle. She delighted in her role as a grandmother to Angela (Doug), Kari (Brian), Elizabeth (George), Michael, Matt (Miranda), Casey, Anne (Jason), Nick (Kayla), Kyle, Ashley, Sarah (Kyle), and Molli, and as a great-grandmother to Chris, Danielle, Nick, Nathan, Mia, Brady, Lexi, Ryan, Sean, Josh, CJ, Payton, Quinn, Luke, Audrey, Noli, Willa, Camden, and Jude.
Marian's vibrant personality shone brightly through her interests, which included watching movies, reading, and attending her grandchildren's activities. Memories of family celebrations and vacations together in South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard "Jeep" Doyle, and her children, Teresa Elder and Tim Doyle. She was also the sister of the late Betty Sperl and Charles Wallot.
