Marian G. Howell, 96, formally of Allentown, passed away on November 22, 2025, at Topton Lutheran Home in Topton, PA. She was the wife of the late Leo K. Howell Sr., who died in 2006. Born in Hazleton on July 28, 1929, Marian was the youngest of 14 children born to the late Frank and Rose (Molinaro) Molinaro. She grew up in the coal region of PA and would often reminisce about her life before her family moved to Allentown. It was there that she got her first job at the Phoenix Clothing Factory, and after starting her family, she worked at Clymer's Carousel in Bethlehem. As a breast cancer survivor, Marian went on to become a Certified Mastectomy Fitter and opened her own franchise called Marian of Jodee, helping many women throughout the community navigating life after breast cancer.
Marian was a member of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, PA.
Survivors: Son, Mark K. Howell, (fiancé Jessi Riggs and her children Marc and Evy) of Columbia, MD; adopted by the heart, daughter, Teresa Szajkovics of Allentown; daughter-in-law, Mary Howell of Macungie; grandchildren, Leo III and Adam Howell, Jessica, Joshua, and Jacob Szajkovics, Mason and Micah Howell; 4 great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son, Leo K. Howell Jr., adopted by the heart, son, Barry Szajkovics, and all 13 siblings.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, PA 18052. A calling hour will precede the mass from 9 AM - 10 AM. Burial will conclude services at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
