Robert A. (Bob) Schneck, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
Born on August 27, 1938, in Lehighton to the late Norman and Grace Schneck, Bob was a proud graduate of Lehighton High School and Penn State University. He lived a life rooted in service and dedication, beginning with his years as a firefighter in Lehighton and continuing through his time in the Army Reserves. Bob went on to build a long and successful career, spending nearly 25 years with Ingersoll before finishing his professional journey at Bosch Rexroth, where he worked until his retirement.
Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather figure who found joy in the people he loved. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Alana (Romig), and his son, David Schneck, and his wife Stacy of Bethlehem. He also leaves behind his cherished stepchildren, Timothy Zeigler and his wife Renee of Florida, and Sherri Oswald and her husband Tim of Walnutport, his loving grandchildren Renee, Austin, Zachary, and Jessica. In addition, Bob is survived by his brother, Richard, and his family of Texas.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Robert's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
