Ramiro Rivera Rivera

Ramiro Rivera Rivera passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born December 6, 1944, in the lively town of Corozal, Puerto Rico, he was the cherished son of the late Juan Rivera Rosado and Mercedes Rivera Agosto. Growing up in Corozal shaped him into the kind man he became, and he never forgot his roots.

He began his career in printing, where he advanced steadily to foreman and then manager roles, earning deep respect from his teams for his fairness, meticulous attention to detail, and wise, steady leadership. Later, he owned and operated his own bodega, turning it into a true neighborhood hub where people felt welcomed and at home.

Outside of work, he loved playing softball and was a fan of the New York Mets.

Ramiro was blessed with two cherished children, Ramiro Rivera Jr. and Claudia Rivera, from his marriage to Eleuteria Agosto. The love and life they created together endured through their son and daughter. He remained a devoted and steady guide to his children, imparting the values of hard work, respect, and the unbreakable importance of family.

He is survived by his former wife, Eleuteria Agosto; his children, Ramiro Rivera Jr. and Claudia Rivera; his sister, Nilsa Rivera; his grandchildren, Jonathan A. Rosado, Adriana Rosado, Richard Rivera, and Michell; and his great-grandchildren, Catalias Rosado and Rosemichelle Rivera.

Ramiro lived a full and heartfelt life, where family was everything to him. He cherished his large, loving family above all else and remained unwaveringly devoted to them throughout his years. He will be profoundly missed.

Services: A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 PM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
