Marianne Sarna

Marianne Sarna, age 67, of Dover, peacefully passed away on September 19, 2025.

Marianne was born on May 23, 1958 and she grew up in Dennison, Ohio. She graduated from Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School and was employed at Marlite at Dover as a credit analyst for over 35 years.

Marianne is survived by her husband, Paul Sarna of Dover; her sister, Donna (Mike) Burtscher of Dover; her son, Tyler (Shelly Sweitzer) Dapoz of Dover; her daughter, Stacie (Chris VanTress) Dapoz of Columbus; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lawrence and Charolette Sarna of Wake Forest, North Carolina; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mindy and Robert Smith of Wake Forest, North Carolina; a nephew and a niece, Joey and Savanna Smith; and three dogs, Bogey, Birdie and Mulligan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Ernie Carinelli.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation care is to be provided by the Geib Funeral Center at Dover and no services are to be scheduled.
