Maribeth DeRagisch

Bartonville- Maribeth DeRagisch, 80, of Bartonville, passed away at 7:15 AM on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on April 27, 1943 in Peoria, a daughter of John and Dolores (Ewing) Holverson. She married August James "Jim" DeRagisch on June 22, 1963 in Peoria. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, and one brother, John "Tony" Holverson.
Surviving is one daughter, Deelina (John Graves) DeRagisch Engstrom of Peoria; one son, James "Jim" (Theresa) DeRagisch of Bartonville; four grandchildren, Zachary, Anthony, Megan, and Halle.
Maribeth worked and retired from Walmart in East Peoria, after 21 years of service. She last attended Faith Missionary Church, and was an auxiliary member of the Bartonville American Legion. She also enjoyed playing bunco, pinochle, and spending time with family and friends.
Per Maribeth's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded through Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
