Maricela Linda Tristan was born on October 12, 1955. On May 11, 2025, Jesus called her home to rest in His eternal glory.
Maricela was proud to serve in the United States Army as a specialist.
Along with Maricela's devotion to her country, she was a devoted spouse, daughter, sister, stepmother(mom) and friend.
Maricela enjoyed sitting on her porch at home, tending to her plants and shopping. She had a beautiful collection of ceramic dolls and angels.
Maricela was incredibly kind, generous and loving. Her laugh always filled the room with joy. When she greeted friends or family, her smile was always a welcome gift. Her joy was infectious, and her humble spirit was a beautiful reminder of God's peace and love.
Maricela is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Piedad M. and Maria Francisca Tristan; her eldest brother, Piedad Thomas Tristan and his wife, Janie C. Tristan; and her second eldest brother, Ricardo Luis Tristan.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband, Miguel Reyna.
Maricela is also survived by her sister, Adriana Garza (Moses); nephews, Jimmie Tristan and Homer Tristan, nieces, Veronica Vasquez (Bobby) and Michelle Treviño; grandnephews, Julian Treviño and Diego Treviño; Stepdaughters, Janina M. Orozco (George), Sandra A. Reyna (James Warrick) and Yvonne Michelle Garcia (Pedro); five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Maricela will be missed, but we are comforted that we will see her again in Heaven. Until then, we love you, Maricela, and we thank you for always being a kind, loving presence in our lives.
